Q. Are consultations confidential? Yes. Absolutely
Q. How do I get a free copy of your book? Those booking their first Consultation, or Retreat, receive a FREE e-book copy. A download link will be available, or sent to you, after payment has been completed.
Q. How do you calculate Consultation prices? A Consultation is 60 minutes online time for you but can be hours more, for me. Individualized plans take time.
Q. Do you offer discounts for packages? Yes. Please contact me for details
Q. Where are Retreats held? A Thailand beach resort town, called Hua Hin, home of the Thai Royal Family. Hua Hin is 2.5-3 hours by road from Bangkok or a 1 hour flight from Kuala Lumpur.
Q. How do I get there? If flying into Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok, you will be met at arrivals and driven from the airport to the Retreat venue. A limousine service is available upon request. If not coming directly to the Retreat venue, please make your own arrangements
Q. Price. How much are Retreats? Retreats are 10,000 Thai Baht (approx USD$329) per day, includes all therapies, massage, juices/food and accommodation. Excludes supplements.
Q. How do you calculate your prices? Prices reflect market forces, individual attention you receive and results achieved. For comparison, Lyme Disease Retreats, elsewhere, start at $500 per day. Beware low prices which mask hidden charges and sharp practices, which can easily double your final bill
Q. Do you offer discounts? A 25% per person discount is available if you attend with one other person. Returning guests please contact me.. NOTE: Thailand is a modern economy with a strong currency. We do not offer Goa prices.
Q. What if I wish to stay elsewhere? Alternatives are available. Please contact me to discuss
Q. Is it all work and no play? You are encouraged to rest and recuperate. There is time for relaxation and recreation. Yoga, meditation, swimming, Thai massage, sauna, health education talks and documentaries. Trips to the beach (only 5 minutes away), world-class golf courses, temples and tourist spots. If you wish to explore Hua Hin by bicycle, motorcycle, tuk-tuk or taxi, this can be arranged
Q. What do we eat on the program? This is a Fasting Retreat, with customized meals provided during non-fasting days.
Q. Can I bring a spouse/guest/carer? A. If accommodation is available, carers are welcome. Discounts apply
Q. What if I wish to extend my stay? A few days additional time is always built-in. Please plan your flight departure date, accordingly.
Q. How do I pay? 90% of business payments in Thailand are via bank transfer, due to resistance from the population to credit card fees. I prefer International bank transfer, to my UK bank or Paypal.
If booking through the website, normal payment methods include debit/credit cards and Apple Pay
A 50% minimum deposit is required, at least 30 days in advance, when paying by bank transfer. The balance needs to be deposited into the bank, before the Retreat start date. You may also pay cash on arrival, in Thai baht
We are unable to process Travellers Checks or credit/debit cards on site. Currency Exchange, banks and ATMs are available at many locations and have English menus
Q. Why do I need to pay the full amount before the Retreat starts?
My credit card service does not allow split payments
Adherence to programs increases when clients pay up front
I do not wish to wonder if I am going to be paid
Q. If I cancel or leave early, do I receive a refund? Sorry, no. Unless a replacement is found. Once you confirm your booking I cannot accept any other requests. Please see Terms and Conditions regarding refund policy.
Q. Can children attend? If well-behaved. Please contact us to discuss.
Q. Is Travel or Medical Insurance included? No. Please arrange health and travel insurance cover, independently
Q. Which is the nearest airport to you? Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok. Direct flights are also available from Kuala Lumpur to Hua Hin and take 1 hour.
Q. Are flights included in the price of the Retreat? No.
Q. How long is the transfer from the airport to the Retreat? Our private taxi service (included in the price) takes around 3 hours. The Airport Bus to Hua Hin takes around 3.5 hours
Q. Who arranges airport transfer? We arrange airport pick-up and transfer. Notify us of your flight number and arrival time. You will be met at airport arrivals and driven direct to the Retreat. If you are not coming directly to Hua Hin, please make your own arrangements to get here.
Q. How much is airport transfer? Airport Transfer is included in the price.
Q. What clothes or items should I bring with me? You will only need light shoes and clothing. Bring personal medications and/or supplements and sufficient cash for the trip
Q. What is the weather like in Thailand? Thailand has a rainy season from April to November. Hua Hin has the lowest rainfall in the country. Typically, rain showers are brief, in the afternoon and temperatures remain warm. For an up-to-date Weather Report and monthly rainfall averages try accuweather.com
Q. What is the standard of accommodation? We provide high quality accommodation. Rooms include King or Queen-size beds, hi-speed internet, fans, air conditioning, slippers, robes and clean towels
Q. What time should I arrive? Normal check-in is 9am on your day of arrival. Please let us know if you will be late or wish to arrive the evening before.
Q. I am a female travelling alone and worried about security. Hua Hin has little crime. The Homestay is in an exclusive, secure development, with manned security at the gate
Q. Can we use credit cards to withdraw cash from ATMs? Local ATMs allow you to draw cash and select your language. Please check your daily cash withdrawal limits with your home bank. If you are unsure, please bring adequate cash, or Travellers Cheques, to cover the period of your stay.
